Chapter History

The Beta Sigma chapter of Delta Gamma was founded at the University of Maryland in 1945. With nearly 70 years on the University of Maryland campus, we have a proud tradition and strong presence throughout campus life. Being a Delta Gamma is about friendship, philanthropy, sisterhood, involvement, leadership, academics, and so much more.

Get to know DG with a #whydgwednesday from our Director of COB, @oliviamanningg “From the moment I joined Delta Gamma, I have felt nothing but welcomed. Recruitment was definitely a difficult process, but I had so much comfort in knowing that in DG I could always just be me. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat because it lead me to the supportive, compassionate, and kind women of DG who have become my home away from home. As director of COB, I love being able to help other women foster similar connections by working in the recruitment process. I am so thankful for the life-long friendships and memories that I have made, and look forward to what is to come!!! Link to COB in our bio!!??”
